Living in Bellingham, Washington I am able to enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities. All my life I have been exploring the endless supply of mountains called the Cascades, located just outside my backdoor. Mt Baker has provided countless opportunities for honing my skiing and snowboarding skills, while on Galbraith Mt. I have spent hours enjoying the sport of mountain biking.
Recently, however, I have felt a call to the ocean! With this call came the desire to connect with the kayak community and explore the amazing coastline surrounding Bellingham bay and the islands beyond!
My adventures into the world of kayaking started when my brother asked me to look into making a Greenland Kayak Paddle for his new-to-him tandem kayak.Since then, I have made numerous paddles which have been shipped throughout the lower 48. I love the adventure that comes with kayaking and working with the ocean; there is nothing like enjoying lunch on some remote beach where few others have been.
